Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus) mushrooms are widely renowned for their health benefits. They can help boost the immune system by stimulating stem cells which continuously divide and replace aging cells. Studies suggest that Lion's Mane can help improve cognitive function and reduce the risk of certain neurological disorders such as dementia and Alzheimer's. Not only can they help enhance focus and concentration, but they may even be able to prevent damage to neurons and help regenerate nerves. In fact, they have been studied for their potential therapeutic and antidepressant effects, and have been found to improve symptoms of anxiety and depression. Lion's Mane can also help reduce inflammation, lower blood cholesterol levels, and relax the central nervous system, promoting a sense of calm and well-being. Overall, these mushrooms may help improve overall mental and physical health.

Lions Mane for ADHD

I am a 64 year “young” woman with ADHD and have been taking Ritalin for many years. About 5 months ago I had someone recommend NeuroFX made by Nor’East Apothocary so immediately bought some and had found that taking it with my Ritalin improved my attention span greatly. One of the main ingredients in the NeuroFX is Lions Mane and I had heard that this has been proven beneficial for people with ADHD. Knowing this I was curious to see if switching to the Lions Mane formula alone would further improve my symptoms, so I made the switch about a month ago. I’m delighted to say that since switching I have found that my anxiety is gone, I’m more organized, ambitious and less of a procrastinator. Looking back over the past month I’ve also realized that I’m not as chronically late for everything, which was always a lifelong struggle for me. If I had any doubts before about whether this improvement was due to the Lions Mane, I was convinced when I ran out of the serum. For the 2 days I was off the serum all of my ADHD symptoms returned and an inexplicable feeling of depression and hopelessness overcame me, but the symptoms receded again yesterday when I restarted my Lions Mane regiment. I’m not sure if everyone with ADHD would benefit as much as I have but I would highly recommend trying it.
